Raccoon Creek to home

We woke up to pea soup fog.

The trawler sitting nicely at anchor.

After breakfast the fog started to lift.

We got going around 10

About this point I was in the narrow exit from Raccoon Creek. My depth sounder started going crazy.

Then we ran back down the river. For me the trip was mostly unevenful.

At one point I heard a discussion of Monarch butterflys heading to Mexico. Soon a couple hitched a ride on Andrea Lynn.

The weather was gorgeous for the entire trip back. The next day and Saturday were pretty nasty for the rest of the fleet but everyone made it back safely.

After arriving back at the marina I spent one hour unloading the boat and securing it.

I made it home around dark.

This was a great trip. I really enjoyed the company, the camaraderie and the scenery.
