0955 - passing "Joe Cain". This was a slow moving three barges deep, three barges long.

1013 - passed 424.0

1033 - passed 425.9

1047 - passed 427.5

1116 - diesel at 13 1/4

1114 - passed "Rita M"

1203 - passed highway 72

1203 - passed Edith Tripp 3x2 carrying coal. All the towboats I encountered either carried coal, wood chips, or were empty. There are several paper mills along the Tenn-tom canal.

1212 - passed 436.6

1249 - passed 440.0

1309 - passed 442.0

1319 - passed 443.0

1336 - passed 444.0

1435 - towed a boat that was sitting just outside the Pickwick Tenn-Tom marina back to the fuel dock. I always make a point of helping people because sometimes I need help.

1443 - diesel at 13 1/2 inches from top. Added 26.08 gallons. Now at 6 1/2

1545 - left dock

1605 - raised sails and secured motor

1608 - sailed into Alabama

1830 - anchored at Beech branch, Pickwick Lake. Jim and I took the dinghy up the creek to look around.
